Anton, écrivain célèbre, qui souffre d’hallucinations a été admis à la clinique psychiatrique « Belvédère » pour être suivi par le docteur Defoe, un des médecins spécialistes. Tous les deux, médecin et patient doivent faire face à la visite d’un étrange personnage du passé d’Anton.

Anton, a famous writer, seems to have checked into the psychiatric clinic Belvedere to have his hallucinations treated by Dr. Defoe, one of the staff physicians. Both Anton and the doctor are challenged by the appearance of a strange visitor from Anton's past.
